Website delivery and security

We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host this website: the website files are stored in Frankfurt using Amazon S3 and delivered through the global Amazon CloudFront network. AWS processes technical request data, including your IP address, the requested address, request time and browser information, to deliver pages and protect the website with AWS WAF. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliable website. We do not use visitor analytics or advertising trackers. Full website access-log delivery is not enabled. Security request samples may be available in AWS WAF for the preceding three hours; we do not export them into a separate visitor database.

Cookies, fonts and images

This website does not set cookies or use browser storage. Fonts and images are served with the website. There are no embedded social feeds, external font requests, tracking pixels or marketing scripts.

Contact by email

Selecting an email link opens your email application. Sending a message is your choice. We use Microsoft 365 to send, receive and store business email. If you contact Dr. Healthew, the contact details and information you provide are used to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other legitimate business correspondence. Messages are retained as necessary for the enquiry and any applicable retention obligations.

External links

External websites, including Amazon, Instagram, ResearchGate, Google Scholar and scientific sources, are linked, not embedded. They receive information when you choose to open their websites. Their own privacy policies apply. This website does not receive your Amazon payment or order details.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, subject to the applicable conditions. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent for future processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Service providers and international processing

AWS provides hosting and security services; Microsoft 365 provides business email. Their service infrastructure and support may involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. AWS incorporates its data-processing addendum and applicable EU standard contractual clauses into its service terms. These safeguards do not mean that all processing takes place in Germany. Details are available in the AWS privacy notice and the Microsoft privacy statement. You can contact us at the address above for information about processing relevant to your enquiry.
